Well first it's the greed of Americans to live beyond their means + our Government creating Freddy Mac and Fannie Mae. Compound that Dodd and Obama both received over $100,000 from these lobbyists, while refusing to hear McCain's plan to fix some problems in 2005. Now Pelosi loses $250,000 in one company? Geee, most of us don't have that kind of money but our fearless Democratic leaders are rich. Don't be blaming Bush for all of this! To bad Kucinich doesn't allow people who think different.

The government didn't "create" Fannie and Freddy. That's a Right Wing Talking Point and a lie. These were private companies that were representing the paper from noncollectable debt as if it was cash in the bank. So were the banks for that matter. It all caught up with them as the fraud was exposed. It wasn't just Bush, it was his appointees who believe government should let business run wild. It had nothing to do with the Democrats. They tried to stop this but Republicans blocked their efforts.

BTW: How many houses does McCain have? Obama only became "rich" off his book sales while McCain found himself a Sugar Mama. He didn't earn it.

The Democrats and Republicans and the ignorant idiots called US citizens who believe the two main parties care about them are ruining the country. Politicians, celebs, and CEOs won't get hurt because they are all rich.
Dennis is right. ... ( 2 months ago by Kold2market)
Dennis is right. This is not between right and left, Republicans and Democrats.
The vote was between Corporate Democrats and Republicans against NON-Corporate Democrats and Republicans. And since the bailout passed, it's clear that Corporate lobbyist have bought enough politicians from both side of the aile in order to pass through their agendas. I've got a list of EXACTLY who vote FOR this bailout...and so should every voter out there at election time vote them out of office.
