oh really? so i'm curious...what's still being sampled? I still listen to the so-called new hip hop and with my old ears I easily hear the sampling. the one thing about history when it comes to music, in order for a musician to be successful, you have to know your history. Don't believe me? get with current hip hop big wigs, i.e. puffy, jayzee, etc they will tell you the same thing. Please know what you're talking about before commenting and pick up a dictionary from time to time as well.
