Sorry to bring up a 3 month old comment, but there is a few things. Obama does write some of his own speeches, and DOES edit every speech he gets. Who better to edit a speech then a former president of the Harvard Law Review right? You want to know what speech he did write? The 2004 DNC speech that catapulted him to the attention of his party. Beyond speeches are debates which earned Obama poll points. Beyond talk is action. Lets not judge his 4 year term before he's started it.
