in the 80's it seem it where the big scence of tie-in from cartoon to toy really became big. Still good toon's but now you cant' have a toon that don't sell a toy or a website or whatever. WE NEED GOOD OL' SATURDAY CAP'N CRUNCH MUNCHIN' CARTOONS BACK-oh dangermouse!

They don't make cartoons like they used to. Not even for licensed properties. I'm not telling you to agree that Harry Potter is a good book series or Ratchet
Clank is a good video game. But think about it- you don't get cartoons about Harry Potter, or other kid friendly movies or video games because the 80's spirit is gone.
