you know when you download VLC.
will all your music,mideos,pictures icon change to the VLC icon. ?.
if it does is there a way to change it back to the oringle icon thay is had ?.

You can associate file extensions during the installation, and also after it by going to Tools | Interface | Association Setup.

This is one of the reasons I like YouTube, you can always find video tutorials like this one. I use Free Download Manager to convert files but will give VLC a try. Thanks pbj746.

No, Mpeg1 is closer to mp3. MP3 means "Mpeg1 Audio layer 3". If you don't believe me, look it up.

I finally got the converting part pretty well. My problem was that I put spaces on my file output name. How can I convert the file name with spaces, because VLC could only convert the file output name when there were no spaces.
